DIVER PREREQUISITES |

Minimum of 3 people to commence a group course - private courses
also available |

Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent rating |
|
|
Minimum age 15 years (12 years for junior advanced - maximum
depth of 21 metres) |
|
|
Provides the novice diver with a structured, well supervised
course to gain additional dive experience |
|
|
The course involves students in various underwater tasks to
broaden the awareness of the environment and capabilities as
divers |
|
|
5 Open Water Training Dives:
-Deep Dive
-Navigation Dive
-Remaining 3 chosen from: Naturalist, drift, boat or multi-level
dive, underwater photography,
fish identification |

Selection of dives dependant upon available sites/weather
conditions |

DAY
1 - OUTER BARRIER REEF |

Cruise to the Outer Reef on MV Poseidon III |
|
|
1st dive - Navigation Dive (natural & compass) |
|
|
Followed by lunch then a chance to snorkel |
|
|
2nd dive - Choos from options |
|
|
Knowledge review for each dive must be completed prior to
certification |
