PADI OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION

	For students that have completed all academic & confined water training
	"Referral" process for students who have taken class/pool portion in colder climate and want to undertake the actual dives in warm tropical conditions and experience the thrill of diving the Great Barrier Reef

REQUIREMENTS

	Academic and confined open water training must have been completed within 12 months of the referral
	Relevant paperwork from previous Instructor and training facility - must be PADI certification (if another agency, see the Dive Centre)
	Must have an Australian Dive Medical in accordance to Standards Australia AS 4005. 1 Appendix A
	Must have a minimum of 3 students to run a group Referral Course - private course also available
	2 passport size photographs

INCLUDES

	2 days on the Great Barrier Reef on board MV Poseidon III
	Courtesy Coach transfers in the Port Douglas area (Cairns & Northern Beaches - $15.00 return)
	Morning & afternoon tea & tropical buffet lunch both days
	4 Open Water training dives + 2 extra dives as a "Certified" Diver
	Full gear hire (includes wetsuit, Computer, BCD, Regulator, masks, fins, snorkel)

	Environmental Management Charge (EMC) by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority - $5.00 per person each day - collected on board, Fuel Levy of $12
	Australian Dive Medical ($65.00 approximately)
	Log Book (if required)
